How did you find CoE?
December 18 2003, browsing for LotR sites. First time I saw the CoE, I thought it was well organised and interested. First thing I ever joined on the internet, being new to computers for personal use.
Do you have any official duties here at CoE?
Official Welcome Wagoneer and Leader of the Realm of Nienna.
What are your favourite areas of the site?
The Realm of Nienna; Fans Over Forty; Role Playing; Book Club; then just general browsing.
How often do you visit CoE?
Every night from 6:00 pm to early hours. Was daytime too, but the orcs [bosses at work] put a stop to that.
How many times have you read the books?
Since I discovered them after the first film ~ three times, but am intending to read them again.
Who is your favourite LOTR character?
Sam.
Do you have a favourite scene from the trilogy?
In the film ~ Between Gimli and Legolas
Gimli: Never thought I’d die fighting side by side with an elf.
Legolas: What about side by side with a friend?
Gimli: Aye, I could do that.
In the book ~ When the Dunedain turn up and Aragorn is so happy to see them. Also the Ride of the Rohirrim.
What character left out of the films do you miss most?
Ghan-Buri-Ghan
Do you know any Sindarin or Quenya?
Only phrases that I have on a file, but would love to be able to learn Elvish, if the grey matter could hold the information.
What are you looking forward most to in ROTK EE?
All of the additional scenes. I want them to be a surprise.
