You make a good point and your article is well written but, I am still unhappy with PJ’s portrayal of Faramir. To reduce that noble creature to the mean character in TTT was almost more than I could endure. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the movies and I have all the respect in the world for the huge undertaking that PJ heaped upon himself, but to reduce Faramir to such a state hurt deeply. I compare that hateful portrayal to a hideous nightmare that I can not shake from memory.
