i think RotK was the best film of the 3. I do agree that its better when you can watch all 3 together, but still. The ‘rotk being the weakest link’ stuff, totally disagree.
And theres something about Tolkien’s allegorical intentions? I thought Tolkien disliked allegory… there was a thing on the EE about it, or am i crazy?
I had to stop reading that review…that guy is gonna get stalked and attacked with mace. Who could EVER say that the RotK is the WORST?! Oh well…whoever hired him must have been desperate! But who cares what they say…we ALL know that RotK is probably gonna be a record breaking best seller! Right?!
The part about the dvd and the extented version was pretty good but part about the actual movie was horrible and well i’m certainly getting my mace, he did ask for it in his long and tragic review!
I have to agree…the guy had no idea what he was talking about ROTK was the best of the three, and being the impatient person that I am, I will be buying it the day it comes out as well as in the fall with the extended editon.
This reviewer gave HIS opinion of ROTK film, and he’s entitled to his opion whether we agree with him or not. I think I’ll take his advice and wait for the 4 DVD set in November. Oh the anticipation!
I would kind of say that ROTK isn’t the best movie single, you kind of have to see the first two to actually understand where it’s coming from. It’s my very very favorite movie anyway though!:). I’m going to wait untill all three of the extended come out on DVD all together, if they have such a thing.
Pfft. Perdictable…what did he expect? Frodo turns out to be a girl? He shouldn’t be blaming Jackson, he should be blaming Tolkien and actualy look into the real meaning of the film and the other meaning of the book. All I can say is pfft.
This guy’s picture must be in the dictionary next to the word MORON. I mean, did he even watch the movie? he couldn’t have if he gave it such a terrible review. Maybe RotK wasn’t his favorite installment, but it most definitely wasn’t “The weakest of the three.” Spare me!
*sighs and grabs her mace and an extra sharp sword*
Did this reviewer even read the book??!! . . .the fadeout on Sam trudging back to the homestead is pretty darn lame. Yikes! If you don’t know the story, then don’t review the movie – please.
the worst?! What the h-e-double-hockey-sticks was that guy smoking when he reviewed that movie?! Sheesh, he doesn’t know what he’s talking about, it was by far the best of the three…
the worst thing about this review is that he completely jumped on Gollum…he said Gollum was like JAR JAR BINKS…nothing is worst than Jar Jar…Gollum is probably the most amazing unhuman character ever created….we ALL know that

What a horrible review of the actual movie. The weakest of the three? Give me a break.
