  1. You know what, even though “The Passion” started out strong, part of me kinda doubts it will keep up the momentum to beat ROTK and Titanic for the top grossing spot. We will just have to wait and see what happens.

  2. As head-over-heels as I am about LotR, if there is one movie that I am thrilled that can overtake it – it’s the Passion. RotK is a FANTASTIC movie but to see a movie about Christ have so much success means a lot to me.

  3. I wouldn’t mind the Passion getting second place, I really wouldn’t mind at all…but I still think that for all PJ and the cast went through, this movie deservs to be number one.

    …and Tolkien. Don’t forget Tolkien.

  4. I agree with you Aearrinn. As much as I love LOTR, The Passion is more important for people to see. The numbers say more people are seeing it, too, and I think Tolkien would be very pleased to know that. He would be the first to say The Passion is more important than LOTR. After all, he said he wanted his story to reflect the grace of God. I don’t think he would want to overshadow it.
