I’m NUMB STRUCH. I’ve seen a lot of Oscars and I mean A LOT. It has been a VERY VERY long time that The Oscars was a good show. And IT’s not all because ROTK was top of them all, but it helped :-). I was thrilled that Return Of The King winning Best Picture and also being the FIRST Fantasy movie to do it. Boy, I got two in one with that; my favorite movie and a Fantasy. I enjoy Fantasy and SciFi movies. These were always ignored at the Oscars, untill March 1, of 2004. YES.
For the record ROTK is the ONLY movie to win all the awards it was nominated for as the other two movies(Ben Hur,Titanic)were nominated for 12&14
awards respectively but won 11 each.
