RotK isn’t a sequel. It’s a continuation of a story. The thing is, since people generally don’t film a movie in three parts with a year inbetween releases, nobody really knows how to classify it. This is why I still think that for awards, the movie should have been considered as a whole instead of judging the individual parts.
All who posted above is absolutely right. ‘ Return Of The King’, is NOT a Sequel. These people are smart people and know the Differnts between a sequel and the last chapter of a movie. Don’t they?
