The Weapon Drawing Competition.
The competition is to draw your own blade, bow, club or staff, the weapon you dream of wielding when faced with the enemy. You may draw any style of weapon that could be found in Tolkien’s world but not one of the known weapons such as Sting or Legolas’s bow. A small note : Magical properties should be consistent with those found in Tolkien’s works.
1) Competition is open to all Council of Elrond members
2) Entries are to be submitted to the Weapons Competition Folder in the CoE Gallery
3) The weapon should be of your own design, please do not infringe copywrite.
4) Please do not include your name on the actual drawing submission ( Initials or weapon’s name are allowed )
5) If you weapon has an inscription in any language other than English please provide the translation.
6) The competition will be open for one month.
7) A vote among Council of Elrond members will determine the winner, in the event of a draw the Admin reserve the right to choose the winner.

Are we allow to CG our drawings on our computers??
I echo the above: Can we use a CG rendered work (original creation, not just a tweaked model), or can we at least scan a line drawing in for coloring in Paint? Thanks!
Hey I am sorry guys but this is a competition for hand drawn entries, to allow people to use CG would give them an unfair advantage over those who are drawing completely by hand.
Is a staff/rod an acceptable weapon? I was doing some concept sketches, and came up with a cool design. If not, I have a plan B, (decided by my friends)
Um… I noticed how contestants aren’t allowed to CG their weapons but are you allowed to “clean up” your hand drawn picture on the computer?
I mean removing smudges and stuff, that’s all.
