I’ve never heard of Arvo Pärt. I MAY be alittle biased but IMO Shore’s LOTR music was brilliant.
I’m a huge movie music fan, some of my fav sound tracks are Braveheart, Legends of the fall, The piano, Out of Africa and Moulin Rouge…oh and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory lol

That is certainly a big shift in taste. I like Arvo Pärt, especially “Fratres”, but I can’t imagine anyone’s work more different than Howard Shore.!
