Mithril Awards Results Posted!

” The Mithril Awards were established to honour excellence in fiction, poetry and critical essays relating to The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Silmarillion and other works by JRR Tolkien. There were many different categories up for nomination: everything from “Best Silmarillion” fiction to essays to crossovers. (Be advised: also categories for adult content). Entries were only considered if they received multiple nominations; that is, someone had to go to their website and post a nomination, with URL, for something online. Several of our members entered very worthy pieces. I first heard about the Mithril Awards through the CoE’s news section, and I want to thank whoever it was that posted that article, because… well… you can guess why. 😉
