I think Hugo is a great actor and a good choice for Elrond, but it troubles me that he hasn’t investigated this character thouroughly – Elrond is not – …like 3500 years old… – he’s more like 6500 years old! A huge difference I should say. Just had to get that off my chest.
Yep, I was thinking that too as I read the article. Well, he did say that he never finished reading the triliogy when he first tried reading it, or something like that… But he was a WONDERFUL Elrond, though for his character, he probably should have read everything by Tolkien that he could get his hands on.
