The group demanded changes to The Two Towers DVD as well as the upcoming The Return of the King film. “We feel that more emphasis should be put on the fact that we didn’t eat Merry and Pippin,” said Wratch of the UADL. “We’d also like included the scene where Lerd and Ugol discuss the geo-political ramifications of an alliance between Sauron and Saruman that was shot but was cut from the film.”

  1. This article has gotten me very confused, but it makes me giggle at the same time.

I think that people are very aware at the fact that they didn’t eat Merry and Pippin.

  2. You know, I’m pretty much a live and let live person, but when that Orc family moved in across the street a while ago, well the neighborhood seems to have gone down hill ever since. I certainly wouldn’t let MY daughter marry one of them, that is, if I had a daughter. And another thing, our cat has been missing for several days now and I saw Mr. Uruk (or is that Mr. Hai?) wearing a black fur cap to work the other day. Hmm… 😉

  3. Ok, for all those people who are confused THIS IS A JOKE. It must be. Did you not read the stories about them suing PJ and having a new charector called jar-jaramir? (it’s on their site). Very funny still. I think some one should actually set up the UADL. I’d be it’s biggest supporter( i’d love to join but there is the small fact that i’m not actually an orc). Orcs may be ugly but they have attitude.

  4. This is obviously something out of a tabloid. Sure, they make really convincing computer graphics and are able to tell amusing stories, but reading them is a waste of time.

  5. what the? these people must be insane! everyone knows they didnt eat Merry and Pippin as they appeared later in the movie. what more emphasis do they want? its not like the Uruk-Hai are going to be awarded a medal or trophy. besides, if it was up to them, Merry and Pippin would have been eaten. the Uruk-Hai had orders by Saruman to bring back the hobbits ‘alive and unspoiled.’ i bet the Uruk-Hai lovers didnt think of that!
