After reading this article, I went off to the most well known critic’s website in America: Ebert and Roeper, to get their take on the LOTR series.Tempted to hear their review on TTT, I held myself off and and heard the review of FOTR first.
What Roeper said completely blew my lid off!!!
The ignorance of this “critical” peon was absolutely $&$*@$$*&% – it rankled me, in other words. I’m still in a huff over his review. It’s no wonder movies such as LOTR does not win the Oscar… it’s because of critics like him! Luckily for him, he slightly redeemed himself in his review of TTT and his eagerness to watch ROTK.
But otherwise, I’d kick him to the curb if given the chance. (Literally or figuratively- take your pick.)
