This position’s responsibilities entail the following:
1) Seek out news and post it on the games that are coming out, as well as the ones that are currently out
2) Playtest the games and write up lengthy reviews
3) Moderate the (not yet created) games forum
4) Seek out new little java and related games to add to this site
This is a basic admin position, and as such, allows the admin to add images to the gallery, and help moderate the forum.
Those desiring to apply for this position must meet the following requirements:
1)Must have a decent amount of time each week to devote to this position. Estimate: 2-3 hours a week, at least.
2) Willingness to scour the gaming sites and magazines to find articles relating to the games coming out.
3) Must have decent grammar and spelling. News stories are posted on the front page, and as such, reflect on the site as a whole. We can only accept people who take the time to write/edit their stories so that they are readable and not an embarrassment to the site.
4) Must be willing to oversee the (not yet created) games forum, which requires visiting the site and that forum on a daily basis.
5) Must own, or be able to access, a PC, Playstation 2, and a Nintendo Gamecube, to be able to write up decent reviews of the games released on these platforms. If you don’t own these items, it is acceptable if you have a friend who does and is willing to let you use them to play these games.
6) Must be willing to buy LotR board and card games, or find some other way to access them to write reviews on them.
7) Must be willing to seek out new java games to add to the site. This requires that you have some knowledge of how to set up java applets, and other similar software. We’d really like to build up this area of the site, so only people who are interested in finding new games to add to the site should bother applying.

2) A sample game review. We’re looking for well-written, detailed reviews. Pick any game that has come out so far related to LotR (the CCG, or a board game, for example), and give us your review. Enthusiasm and creativity get you extra bonus points 🙂
