This position’s responsibilities entail the following:
1) Seek out and post news stories on a daily basis. We need at least 1-2 news stories a day from our news admins.
2) Oversee and add items to the Council Store.
This is a basic admin position, and as such, allows the admin to add images to the gallery, and help moderate the forum.
Those desiring to apply for this position must meet the following requirements:
1) Must have a lot of time to devote to doing this. I cannot stress this enough: being an admin at this site requires a lot of spare time, especially for the news admins who spend a lot of their time poking around the web for news stories. Please only apply if you know that you have enough time to devote to this position over a lengthy time period.
2) Must have decent grammar and spelling. The news stories are posted on the front page, and as such, reflect on the site as a whole. We can only accept people who take the time to write/edit their stories so that they are readable and not an embarrassment to the site.
3) Must be actively interested in visiting other sites to seek out news stories. This requires a proactive person who likes to search the web, visit other sites, and be a little bit of a detective.
4) The store is the other important part of this position. Applicants must be interested in helping to build up our store, and should be willing to visit the store affiliates on a regular basis to see what’s new and what needs to be added.
