The pack contains a very large, hollow, dairy milk, milk chocolate egg from Cadbury’s with a “heat sensitive mug” that has a map of Middle Earth and LOTR logo on it. On the side of the mug is a raised, egg shaped area of the Middle Earth map. When hot liquid is poured into the mug it reveals a picture of The One Ring.
A search of the official Lord Of The Rings site, the official Cadbury’s site and the official UK Woolworths site (where the item is sold) revealed no information on this product. In fact Cadbury’s is not listed as one of the “official” partners or merchandisers on lordordtherings.net (the official movie site). The box appears to be genuine, however, when compared to other official merchandise from Toy Biz and Applause.
Though select Cadbury’s chocolates are available in the United States year round and they are a staple of the Easter holiday market, it is unclear if this item will be available in the US.
